I came up with a type of fast called progressive 40-Day Fast. The fast is broken down into four phases:

Phase 1 – Days 1~10: No Meat (beef, pork, chicken, lamb, etc.)
Phase 2 – Days 11~20: No Carbs (rice, potato, noodle, corn, etc.)
Phase 3 – Days 21~30:  No Nuts (peanuts, almond, cashew, etc.)

Phase 4a – Days 31~33: only: Only veggies & soup
Phase 4b – Days 34~36: No Dinner (Only veggies & soup)
Phase 4c – Days 37~39: No Dinner & Lunch (Only veggies & soup)

Final Phase – Day 40: Only Water

The purpose of a progress fast is to ease into phase 4 without damaging the body.
The reason why I started this fast was praying for revival at my school.

On the 38th day I was struggling, I really wanted to eat something at lunch. I went to the computer lab to work on my projects and I sat down next to a friend. As I was working, my friend was groaning in agony. I looked at him and saw him clinching on to his shoulder in pain. His shoulder had a sling because he had surgery done on his shoulder.

I asked…”dude, what’s wrong?”
He replied…”Just had surgery on my shoulder and I forgot to take the Doctor’s painkillers. *groan*”

I asked another question… “why did you get surgery?”
He painfully told me his story of how he did a jump and flipped off a ramp with his dirt bike, landed on his shoulder, and snapped his collarbone in half ! x_x… His collarbone was the size of a golf ball because there was a bolted device holding the collarbones together.

I asked God… “Do you want me to pray for this person?”
In my heart, he immediately answered… “Howie, what do you think I want you to do?”
In my heart, I groaned… because I knew what God wanted…
I asked God… “What if nothing happens? Wouldn’t I look stupid?”
God replied… “Since when was this about you?”

I sighed… moments later, I mustered enough courage to talk to my friend again. I started to share my previous healing testimonies with him and he was amazed. Then I told him that I can also pray for his pain to go away if he wanted me to… I told him that he’s nothing to lose. He thought about it for 30 seconds and quickly told me to pray for him since he was in great pain.

I quickly ran to Kelsey, a friend who also shares the same faith, who was working next door. I approached her and asked if she’s willing to pray together for a friend in pain. She quickly said “yes” and I grabbed my friend in pain to the stairway so that we could pray in privacy. I asked if I could gently touch his shoulder and we began to invite Jesus into the stairway and heal my friend. After Kelsey and I prayed, I asked him how it felt. He started to move his shoulder and was astonished! He said… “WOW! I could feel the pain leaving little by little.” When he said that, I knew Holy Spirit was moving and wanted to completely take away the pain so we prayed a second time. After the second time praying, I asked him how it feels now. He took off his sling and slowly moved his arm in a circular motion. He said…”I can’t believe this, the pain is completely gone! (he began to swing his arm!!).”

We told him it’s Jesus that healed him and that He cares for you a lot. My friend who was in pain thanked us and he had a huge smile.
Kelsey and I praised God, full of joy and excitement! YAY GOD (:

This is an abstract art for the word “mysterious”. There is nothing hidden, I promise. It is what it is.

T here was a city on top of a crocodile which was doing a hand stand on top of a rock. This image portrayed the fragileness of life in the city. A single earthquake can strike at anytime like how a crocodile could snap open its mouth to attack its prey and completely destroy it. A city could easily become imbalanced and over turned at a split moment. Lives could be easily destroyed, while rebuilding takes so much time and effort. In our lives, we should cherish every moment on the things that really matters, on the things that will last forever. We will never have enough time because we are merely a vapor in the wind.

Overdose

overdose

When I first started seeing visions, I got overdosed in seeing visions and dreams. It was a lot of good stuff. But too much of it made me overdose from it. It’s good to see visions from heaven, but it’s also important to keep a clear and focused mind when it is needed. Seeing too much visions can be dangerous at the wrong times. Here’s a story I’ll share that’s connected with this drawing:

The first time I saw a for realz Jesus healing miracles was in in December 2007. I was at San Diego Mall with my spiritual father/big brother/friend, Jaeson Ma, for my first experience. We went to the mall to eat tacos and burritos and before we said grace for our food. When we prayed, I saw a vision of an African American mid-aged women, wearing white heals, while holding a child. I described the picture I saw to Jaeson and he said, “wow, I saw something very similar. I saw an African American mid-aged women, wearing a purple long sleeve, while holding hands with a child.”

After I finished my taco and he finished his burrito, a mid-aged African American women wearing purple long sleeve sat down right next to our table. Jaeson said, “there she is, we found her.” I got really excited and wanted to see if she was wearing a pair of white heals. I stood up and looked, but she wasn’t wearing white heals. Jaeson said, “I think God wants to purely heal her and her child.”

We approached her and told her that we saw a vision of her and asked if she had a child that needs healing prayer. She said yes, she had a 16 year old son who had type-2 diabetes. We asked if we can pray for her on the spot and she agreed. We sat down and prayed for her son. After praying for her son, we asked if she had any part of her body that needs healing prayer. She showed us her hand and she had arthritis so she can’t open up her handeven to hold an object like an apple. We asked if we can pray for her hand and she believed that Jesus can heal her. We prayed for her and asked her how it feels now. She looks at her hand and opens it up completely wide! She was in shock, her eyes became really big like this: O_O

I was even more shocked because it was my first time witnessing an instant miracle. I drove to LA to take Jaeson back home. While driving I was still in LA LA Land because I encountered God’s healing power for the first time. As I was driving, I almost hit a couple while they were crossing the cross walk. It was my bad. Jaeson rebuked me yelling, “HOWIE WAKE UP! YOU CAN’T BE SO HEAVILY MINDED THAT YOU’RE NO EARTHLY GOOD. YOU GOTTA BE SUPERNATURALLY NATURAL.” I woke up and everything was fine thank God.

After that incident, I lived supernaturally natural. My tolerance of witnessing power encounters became a natural lifestyle, witnessing hundreds of miracles until I lost count, yet at the same time still in awe of God’s presences every time. There was a point in life when I was shocked if the person wasn’t heal instantly. But Holy Spirit has been showing many things of the way he work through me.

Harvest

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:35-37

Jesus performed miracles not only to prove his divinity or to convert the people around him. He did it out of love to show his disciples, including us today, how lovely a miracle is done, so that we may do the same unto those who need.

Root

All Christians have the authority to heal the sick, cast out demons, and raise the dead whether they know it or not. But what if other people who aren’t Christians are also healing the sick, casting out demons, and raising the dead? Aren’t their fruits the same? Doesn’t the Bible say…”By their fruits, you will know”? Isn’t healing someone who is sick a good thing?

Yes, by their fruits you will know, but you also got to look at its roots, what is underneath. Not all healing channels are from the Holy Spirit. Any supernatural healing and miracles outside of Jesus name and power taps into the demonic realm for supernatural power and energy.

This drawing shows that not all roots that go down deep are truly going deep into the right path. Anything outside of Christ will not lead into life. Get your roots planted deep by the River of Life.

Bunny

I once had a bunny named Butchie. He was big, white, a bit of brown, and very cute. He also had beautiful blue lavender colored eyes. In the morning, I would to say hi to him. I would greet him saying, “YO Butchie San!” In Japanese, “San” is equivalent to what English uses “Mister”. When I was 3 or 4 years old when I used to live in Japan, my mom taught me a song about Mt. Fuji. People of Japan called Mt. Fuji, “Yama Fuji San”. One morning when I call “YO Butchie!”, it reminded me of the song my mom and I used to sing. After I remembered the song, I started to greet my bunny by “YO Yama Buchi San!”

Revelations 1:12~16

12I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13and among the lampstands was someone “like a son of man,” dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

Family

A family is composed of many different types of characters. Not one family member is the same. They can be very similar, but everyone is definitely different. Some members are long, some are very big. Some are very round and spiky, while some are very dotty. Although some float around and may appear to be similar, they are different because one can be spontaneous and another can be cute and bright.

We’re just a batch of missed matched characters trying to find a place called home. We just want to be loved without any strings attached, because a healthy relationship should not have selfish motives, but it is selfless. It doesn’t matter if we are thin or wide, tall or short, up or down, far or near, rich or poor, young or old, and loud, medium, or soft. A family is a family and that’s what it is. I emphasize this: it definitely doesn’t matter if we are completely broken or partially healed.

Family is where the heart is, the most important thing about a family is that you got each other to enjoy each other. At the end of the day, family is all you got to come home to.

Axolotl

[audio http://koikun.com/howieju/audio/axolotl.mp3|initialvolume=85]

I look very plain and simple, but I am on fire!

I have the ability to regenerate:

limbs
eyes
spinal cords
hearts
intestines
and upper/lower jaws.

FIRE!!! C’MON!!!!! Shababalaka~!!!

Common Name: Axolotl
Scientific Name: Ambystoma Mexicanum
Mythological Background Story: Numerous legends have developed around the salamander over the centuries, many related to fire. This connection likely originates from the tendency of many salamanders to dwell inside rotting logs. When placed into a fire, the salamander would attempt to escape from the log, lending to the belief that salamanders were created from flames – a belief that gave the creature its name.
